EVO-STIK Building Silicone Sealant

EVO-STIK Trade Only Building Silicone Sealant is a one-part, low modulus, neutral cure sealant which cures by moisture reaction to give a high movement, highly durable weather resistant seal. It has excellent resistance to UV, water, and weather.

Applications

• For applications in damp, humid environments such as bathrooms, kitchens and showers where resistance to mould growth is necessary.
• EVO-STIK Trade Only Building Silicone Sealant is suitable for sealing expansion joints in concrete structures, glazing joints and movement joints between both lightweight and heavyweight cladding panels used for sealing profiled sheeting
• For use in properly designed exterior high movement joints, especially around door and window frames.
• Suitable for all types of frames including aluminum, hardwood and PVCu.
• Good adhesion to glass, painted wood, ceramic, enamel and stainless steel and many plastics.

• Curing system: neutral.
• Curing speed (+23°C, 50% RH, cross-section of joint 20x10mm): 2 mm per day.
• Movement capability: 25%.
• Service temperature resistance: -40°C to + 120°C.
• Elongation at break: 300%.
• Skin formation time (+23 °C / 55% RH): 9min.
