HPSA PU 40 FC

HPSA PU 40 FC is a single-component polyurethane-based elastomeric sealant. It forms a joint of high elasticity and has good resistance to tear and to weather. It cures rapidly under the effect of atmospheric humidity.

Applications

• HPSA PU 40 FC is specially adapted for bonding various building materials and for expansion joints.
• This sealant adheres without a primer on substrates commonly used, like wood, anodized aluminium, polyester, glass, concrete, baked clay, stone, and ceramic tiles.
• For difficult materials, including plastics such as PVC, ABS, PMMA, or materials such as raw aluminium or lacquered metal, perform preliminary tests to determine whether a surface preparation is necessary.

Technical data

• Curing speed (+23°C, 50% RH, cross-section of joint 20x10mm): 3 mm per day.
• Application temperature resistance: +5°C to +35°C.
• Temperature resistance: -40°C to +80°C.
• Elongation at break:  > 400%.
• Skin formation time (+23 °C / 50% RH): 50min.
